Not really.
But I did get to go to Hoover Dam this weekend with @tweeterhold and the wifeys. It was spectacular. The views were amazing and the crowds weren’t nearly as crowd-like as I expected them to be. I can’t believe that it took me this long to get there – usually when I go to Vegas I get stuck on the Strip and see nothing but the dull glow of a $1 video black jack machine. I know…I’m a high roller.
For those of you who don’t know – the Hoover Dam is an engineering marvel. An engineering marvel built entirely by the lowest bidder. It joins up Arizona and Nevada and is one of the largest hydro electric power plants in the world. The lake that is created by the dam, Lake Mead, is the largest reservoir in the world. The bridge that spans the canyon is the widest concrete arch in the western hemiphere – and is “dam” pretty.

Anyways – the trip was fun. There were way too many “dam” puns. We didn’t end up taking the “dam” tour – but we did have a  “dam” good time.
