I just passed the one year mark with my current job – which has put me in a bit of position to reflect on the some of the travel that I have had the opportunity to do over the past 365 days. It’s been a great ride. I have flown somewhere in the neighborhood of 150,000 miles just for work related trips this year. That’s about 6 times around the equator. Mind. Blown.

Traveling has been a ton of fun – and I am sure there is more to come – but in the last year I have visited places that I thought I would never see. From the sand dunes of Abu Dhabi to a casino in downtown Manila (I won!). I’ve been away from home most of the year – so I have my awesome wife, @jmae82, to thank for giving me the opportunity and supporting that I get on an airplane every couple of weeks and head to some far flung destination. She really is great.

I have been sick more in the last year than at any time previously in my life – so traveling hasn’t all been roses, rainbows, and unicorns. But I have had the chance to taste exotic food, drink way too much beer, and see some amazing places along the way. Here’s to another year of seeing the world out of an airplane window.

Here are few pictures from my travels – I hope you enjoy.
